Project Manager

We are looking for a brilliant project manager to join our team. With significant growth planned for 2022, this person will be central to delivering projects for many of our clients. Following a string of client wins, the successful candidate will be joining an agency on the up and it’s an opportunity to join at the start of the next chapter for the business.

The role will be extremely varied – from managing product launch campaigns from start to finish, the creation of a new website or managing virtual events – they will be the lynchpin for setting-up, managing and successfully delivering projects for success. They’ll be part of an experienced team, who are experts in their field, so they’ll have all the resources needed to get the job done.

The role

Based in Tamworth you will work closely with and report to the Client Services and Business Development Directors. Alongside them, you’ll be responsible for incoming briefs, organising resources, developing timings, budgeting and general project set-up and ongoing management tasks.

You’ll manage the administrative requirements and allocation of the right people (including freelancers) to the right briefs. This will be across live and upcoming work, including pitches.

You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the creative and design department, liaising with the studio manager in booking their time onto projects and managing the flow of work. You will also be involved in project planning meetings and will have visibility of all ongoing and future projects and the resource that is required for each.

Critically, EBY values people who use initiative and take on responsibility. We are looking for someone who will want to own resourcing and the administration and mapping of work so that the best possible output can be produced, which, for example, could be a website, an advertising campaign or a pitch. You’ll be efficient, effective and entrepreneurial – managing the day-to-day details, while having a view of the bigger picture of success and growth at the agency.

We work collaboratively to ensure that all work can be produced on time and to the highest possible creative standard and this role is central to ensuring the smooth and seamless running of projects.

You will need to be exceptionally well organised, have a ‘can-do attitude’, able to multitask, a good negotiator and calm under pressure.

You will also be required to provide holiday cover on key projects for the senior management team, if needed.
