BACKGROUND
ELM Group are a multi-national consulting business, based in Stafford. They work in partnership with clients around the globe, creating sales, educational, research and digital solutions in sectors such as pharmaceutical, events and sport.
CHALLENGE
The existing ELM group website had been in existence for several years, but as the business prioritised its resources on exponential growth the site had very little time and resource invested in it. With the creation of a new brand identity and positioning it was vital that a new website was developed to communicate the global outlook of the brand and its core values. Not only did it need to act as a source of information for prospects and clients, it needed to be designed in such a way that it could grow and develop in line with the business needs.
SOLUTION
In developing ELM Group’s new website, a process tailored to their specific needs was implemented. The focus technically was to create a user-friendly website that could be easily managed by ELM’s internal team and hosted on their own servers, ensuring autonomy and control. Built on a WordPress platform, the site was designed with future scalability in mind, allowing for effortless upgrades and feature additions.
Special attention was given to the site’s structure, particularly in integrating the sub-brands seamlessly within the design, while technically ensuring seamless transition between brands.
The website’s design also leveraged the newly created brand identity, incorporating a rich bank of imagery that aligned with this fresh aesthetic.
Furthermore, significant emphasis was placed on the ability to add content in order to enhance the site’s SEO performance. This approach not only aligned the website with the launch of ELM’s brand identity, but also ensured it was equipped to grow and adapt alongside the business, effectively communicating core values to clients and prospects.
